The Mayo Review Launch Party Attend The Mayo Review launch party, March 10th from 6:00pm-8:30pm in the Hall of Languages room 203. You are required to RSVP Ms. C (kcooper7@leomail.tamuc.edu) if you plan to attend- this is a closed event so an RSVP is a requirement. You will find Ms. C to sign in, stay for the full event, and dress and act appropriately-as I know you all will :) You are welcome to present a poem or other other creative written work if you have any! After the event, type up a 500 word MLA formatted response paper discussing your experience. In this paper I want you to tell me: *What was your favorite part of the event? *WHY? *How do you think organizations and events such as this benefit the University? *How do you think it benefits the Students? You can use this to add 25 points to your lowest Writing Assignment grade (yes, even one that you did not turn in). To do so you must email me your attached MLA formatted Response Paper by Sunday March 13th by 8pm. Attend this event and type up a 200 word response describing a presentation that stuck out to you. Explain the presentation and what you thought of it. Email this in an MLA document to Ms. C by September 28th to receive 10 extra points on WA1.
Writing Center Visit 1 Visit the Writing Center in the Hall of Languages and work on one of our writing assignments (make sure to bring the writing prompt with you so the tutor will be fully informed of the prompt and my requirements).
